The Houthis are escalating on three fronts at once, and Yemenis and Saudis are paying for it. Last night, Iran-backed Houthi terrorists struck Maashiq Presidential Palace in Aden, the seat of Yemen's government. Yemen's Health Minister reports 5 killed and 16 injured. In Saudi Arabia, the Houthi missile campaign has turned on civilian airports. The October 10 strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh killed 12 people and injured 309, according to Saudi authorities. It was the third attack on the airport that week. In Taiz, Yemen's third-largest city, the Houthis have cut the last main road to government-held areas. More than a million people now face shortages of fuel, food and medicine! This is not resistance. It is a campaign of terror against Yemen's legitimate government, its people and its neighbours! The Houthis are not liberating Yemen. They are holding it hostage for Iran! Yemen deserves a future free from Houthi rule and Iranian interference.

BREAKING: EXPLOSIONS ROCK YEMEN’S PRESIDENTIAL PALACE AREA. HOUTHIS CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY. DEAD AND INJURED REPORTED. At least SIX explosions were reported near the Maashiq presidential palace complex in Aden, Yemen, on Thursday. And the Houthis say they carried out the attack. An official initially reported at least two people killed and six wounded following the blasts near the seat of Yemen’s internationally recognized government. Subsequent reports have cited higher casualty figures, including at least four dead and ten wounded. The toll remains uncertain. This wasn’t just another distant exchange of fire in Yemen’s long-running war. The explosions were reported near one of the country’s most politically sensitive locations. According to the Houthi claim of responsibility, the intended target was a military operations headquarters involving Saudi forces. Yemen’s internationally recognized government says missiles and drones were used in the attack. But there are important distinctions here. The Houthi statement establishes what the group CLAIMS it targeted. It does not independently establish that the alleged headquarters was hit. Likewise, the government’s description of the weapons used has not yet been independently verified. And the proximity to the presidential palace does NOT establish that the palace itself was struck. That matters. A strike near this complex raises immediate questions about security in Aden, the involvement of Saudi-linked military operations, and the possibility of further escalation. Yemen has endured years of devastating conflict. Civilians have repeatedly paid the price for attacks, reprisals, and shifting military front lines. Now another attack has reportedly left families mourning. And the questions are piling up. What exactly was hit? Who were the casualties? And was the claimed military headquarters actually the target? Those answers matter more than competing victory statements. JNN will distinguish what the parties claim from what the evidence establishes.
